Cavea

Commissioned by pianist and composer Robert Fleitz who is known for curating inventive artistic experiences that are delightful, communicative, and surprising.

Performed inside a ‘Harpsichord House’ (pictured), Cavea explores the intimacy of being inside a small space alone, whilst being simultaneously aware that everyone outside it can hear you. The obscured yet sometimes projected harpsichordist alternates between scurrying, quiet, personal gestures and performative declarations.
